Have you walked along the riverside a morning in june? Felt the smell of the flowering medows, seen the mayflies dancing on the river surface and heard the sound of a rising trout?
Far east in the deep forests of Trysil you find the valley of Ljørdalen and the beautiful river Ljøra with several sidestreams. Here, close to the borders of Fulufjellet National Park we offer guided fly fishing where our main target is brown trout and grayling. In june and early july it`s natural to aim for mayfly (and stonefly) hatches at daytime. Later in the season caddis/sedge hatches will start, making it natural to consentrate the efforts to the evening/ nighttime. Normal size of the fish is 0,3 to 1 kg, with a few pushing close to the 1,5 kg limit.
For the 2017- season we offer weekend packages (friday- sunday) including guiding and accomodation with self catering in june and august. Accomodation in the small log cabin 'Gundestugan', perfectly placed on the river bank. Standard of accomodation is basic/simple (with electricity, but no shower or wc, excl. bed clothing).
The price includes:

- Accomodation with self catering at Gundestugan (2 nights)
The price does not include:
